Beginnings

I have now added to the vanity of  the Internet and created a blog.  I do this in part to practice the craft of writing, and express thoughts that may be of value to other people. I may discuss topics offensive to people-- politics and religion in particular. I may muse over scientific questions like the birth of stars and planet formation. I may just get lazy and post a few pictures from a hike. This, and more, will be added when the urge to stroke my vane side becomes to great to resist.
